“THE SHITHOLE COUNTRIES” RACIST REMARK BY PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP OF AMERICA

With the past public utterances of Donald J. Trump of the United States of America, one should not be surprised at his recent racist remark coming from the President of the United States. He has been reported many times to have expressed, fascist, racist and misogynistic remarks which have made him the worse President of the United States in terms of promoting cultural diversity and community cohesion.

Maybe the President needs to know that the Africans have been living peacefully with one another without borders and with love amongst different clans. The social contamination of the Africans came with the arrival of the white man on the shores of Africa without invitation and since then, the centre can no longer hold. Majority of those that came to Africa are culpable for the Africans dire current situation. Therefore, they cannot be totally exonerated from the poor state of the African continent today. What of reparation for the 30million Africans (Just an estimated figure as this figure could be higher) who were forcefully taken away from their own land into slavery to Western Europe and the Americas and thus contributed to the development of those countries?

Instead of claiming to be blameless, why can’t the Genus Trump come to the assistance of the few Africans who want positive change instead of generalising with his racist tendency by comparing African Nations, Haiti and El Salvador with Switzerland which is a safe Haven for stolen and corrupt money? Of course, the USA won’t come to support those that are genuinely working towards removing the toga of under-development because they (the Americans) stand to gain more by maintaining the status quo; by providing ready markets for the Africans’ raw materials and finished products which are shipped back to Africa – A win-win situation for Europe and the Americas.

We cannot forget the history of 1881, the “Scramble for Africa”? This was the occupation, division, and colonisation of African territory by European powers during the period of New Imperialism, between 1881 and 1914. It is also called the Partition of Africa and by some the Conquest of Africa. Before 1870, only 10 percent of Africa was under European control; by 1914 it had increased to almost 90 percent of the continent, with only Ethiopia (Abyssinia), the Dervish state (a portion of present-day Somalia) and Liberia still being independent. What we see today are some of the consequences of that exploitation and partitioning. For an example, apart from the plundering of Africa by the Europeans, all the Africa’s stolen wealth, artefacts etc with or without the connivance of the Africans are not hidden or buried in Africa but in Europe and the Americas. To repatriate them back to Africa will strip the European Countries and the Americas bear naked because they are built by the stolen wealth and artefacts from Africa.

The history of America tells us that the indigenous peoples of the Americas are the pre-Columbian peoples of the Americas and their descendants, who are near extinction by the superior power of the new arrivals after Christopher Columbus discovered America on 3rd of August 1943. Therefore, all peoples in America are one time or another immigrant in the new found colony. Including the ancestors of Donald J. Trump whose father John originated from Germany and mother Mary originated from Scotland. The only people who can claim a bonafide right to America are the indigenous people amongst whom are the Red Indians. The new America was populated by immigrants from Europe and Asia countries.

Let nobody sermonise to Africans about the dire consequences of public stealing, but let the European Countries and the Americas start to first repatriate all stolen wealth and artefacts to their rightful owners, and secondly, begin to remove the enabling environment that makes stealing and corruption by the African elites attractive and bankable in the recipient countries. Having said all that, there is hope for the African continent because it is the Future Continent of the world.

What the African leaders need to do as a matter of urgency and priority is to begin firstly to create an enabling environment for good governance where both rulers and followers can be equal before the law of the land. Secondly, the African leaders need set out people friendly policies but with resolute implementation. Thirdly, the war against corruption should be waged without discrimination, or tribalism, and must be seen to achieve the desired results by both the rulers and the followers. Furthermore, nepotism should be discouraged by all means. Moreover, positive policies of socio-economic development that will aid the economic growth and development of the African countries in the Africa Union – AU must be given priority. First thing first, let all the 55 African Countries of the AU upgrade trade among themselves and stop begging for doles or aid from the perceived exploiters because he that pays the piper dictates the tune.

This is the time to reposition Africa so that Africans in the “Gunholes Country” can come home to use their wealth of experience in developing their own countries. Home is where the soul is. A real story worth telling is that sometimes ago a leader of a European Country generalised Nigeria as to be “fantastically corrupt” and some few months after, his government was taken away from him and given to his next door neighbour who never asked for it. Nigeria is God’s own country, let nobody no matter how highly placed he may think he is should not try to mess up with her if not to receive God’s Judgement.
